There is a publicly expressed need for transportation systems to be more responsive to the "Human Scale" of life with a consequent shift in emphasis within communities towards transit, walking and cycling as alternatives for some trips.Many of today's transportation projects are aimed at addressing the need for mobility within the context of this reorientation of transportation services.
Projects that involve land development necessarily involve adding "traffic" to the system. We have to recognise the differing goals of our Clients, who all need to be able to provide a transportation system that is appropriate for the user and which is cost effective.

Solutions Address NeedsTo achieve this, we work with Clients and the Road Authorities to develop solutions that address the needs of both our Clients and the potential users of the systems. These solutions may be Neighbourhood Transportation Management (Calming) Plans, Bicycle or Pedestrian Route Plans, Development Proposals, Transit System Reviews andr Intersection or Transportation Corridor Improvement Plans.Multi-disciplinary TeamFor some projects a multi-disciplinary team is essential. To address these issues we work with project teams that include Land Use Planners, Urban Designers, and Environmental specialists. Some projects may require the involvement of Community Groups to ensure their success.
